कोरोना महामारीले विश्व आक्रान्त छ । यसबाट नेपाल पनि अछुतो छैन । यतिबेला नेपालमा कोरोनाको ग्राफ दिनहुँ जसो उकालो लागिरहेको छ । बालबालिकादेखि वृद्धवृद्धासम्म संक्रमित भइरहेका छन् । त्यसो त सबैको ध्यान कोरोनातर्फ नै केन्द्रीत छ । तर, गर्मी मौसम लागिसकेको र वर्षायाम लाग्ने तर्खर गरेको योबेला विभिन्न प्रकारका संक्रामक रोग फैलिन सक्छ । यतातर्फ पनि हामीले ध्यान पुर्याउन जरुरी छ ।
गर्मी बढेसँगै झाडापखाला, आउँ, टाइफाइड, मलेरिया, डेंगु, हेपाटाइटिस लगायतका बिरामी बढी देखिन्छन् । सामान्य रुघाखोकीदेखि गर्मी मौसममा जाडोको मौसममा भन्दा धेरै किसिमका इन्फ्ल्युएन्जा भाइरल रोगले धेरैलाई सताउँछ ।
गर्मी तथा वर्षा याममा जति पनि खानेपानीका स्रोतहरू छन्, ती सबै वर्षाको भेल मिसियर दूषित हुन्छन् । पानीमा जनावरको मलमुत्र मिसिएर पनि खानेपानीको स्रोत दूषित हुन्छ । त्यसैले दूिषत पानीबाट सर्ने रोग गर्मीमा धेरै हुन्छन् ।
गर्मी बढेसँगै झाडापखाला, आउँ, टाइफाइड, मलेरिया, डेंगु, हेपाटाइटिस लगायतका बिरामी बढी देखिन्छन् । सामान्य रुघाखोकीदेखि गर्मी मौसममा जाडोको मौसममा भन्दा धेरै किसिमका इन्फ्ल्युएन्जा भाइरल रोगले धेरैलाई सताउँछ ।
गर्मीमा पानीबाट सर्ने रोगहरू जस्तै झाडापखाला, आउँ, टाइफाइड हुन् । गर्मीमा झिंगाले पनि यी रोग सार्ने काम गर्छ । गर्मीको कारणले खानाहरू पनि छिट्टै बिग्रने भएको हुनाले सडेगलेका बासी खानाबाट पनि रोग लाग्छ । गर्मीमा लामखुट्टेको पनि विगविगी हुने भएकोले यसले पनि विभिन्न रोग निम्त्याउँछ । मलेरिया तथा डेंगु लामखुट्टेको टोकाइबाटै लाग्छ ।
यो सँगै गर्मी तथा वर्षा याममा लाग्ने मुख्य रोग र यसबाट बच्ने उपायबारे चर्चा गरिएको छः
झाडापखाला
गर्मीमा र वर्षा याममा सबैभन्दा बढीलाई लाग्ने रोग झाडापखाला हो । झाडापखाला विशेषगरी दूषित खाना र पानीबाट नै हुने गर्छ । झाडापखाला हुँदा बान्ता हुने, पेट दुख्ने, पेट गड्याङगुडुङ गर्ने, रक्तचाप कम हुने, हातखुट्टा र मांशपेशी दुख्ने, रिंगटा लाग्ने, ज्वरो आउने लगायतका लक्षण देखा पर्छ । धेरै बान्ता र पखाला भएर जलवियोजन भएमा मानिसको मृत्यु समेत हुन सक्छ ।
यसबाट बच्न पानी राम्ररी उमालेर पिउने, ताजा खानेकुरा खाने, चर्पी गएपछि र खाना खानु अघि–पछि साबुन पानीले हात धुने, फलफुल तथा तरकारी सफा पानीले पखालेर मात्र खाने, पानी प्रशोधनका उपाय अपनाउनु पर्छ । झाडापखला लामो समयसम्म पनि निको भएन भने चिकित्सकसँग सल्लाह लिनुपर्छ ।
धेरै बान्ता र पखाला भएर जलवियोजन भएमा मानिसको मृत्यु समेत हुन सक्छ ।
टाइफाइड
गर्मी मौसममा टाइफाइड हुने सम्भावना पनि त्यतिकै हुन्छ । यो रोग पनि दूषित पानी र दूषित खानेकुराबाटै हुन्छ । साल्मोनेला टाइफी तथा टाइफी ब्याक्टेरियाले यो रोग लाग्छ । यो रोगको सुरुवाती लक्षण ज्वरो हो । सुरु–सुरुमा उच्च ज्वरो आउने, पेट दुख्ने, पखाला लाग्ने, शरीर कमजोर हुने, खोकी लाग्ने, खान मन नलाग्ने, कसै–कसैमा शरीरमा गुलाबी खालको बिमिरा आउने जस्ता लक्षण देखा पर्छन् ।
यसको समयमा उपचार भएन भने आन्द्रा प्वाल परेर रक्तस्राब पनि हुन सक्छ । चिकित्सकको सल्लाह बमोजिम औषधी सेवन गर्नुपर्छ । यसबाट बच्न पानी उमालेर पिउने, खानेकुरा राम्रोसँग पकाएर खाने, सजिलै पच्न सक्ने खानेकुरा खानुपर्छ । ज्वरो कम भएन भने हेलचेक्र्याई नगरी अस्पताल गएर चिकित्सकको सल्लाह लिनुपर्छ ।
डेंगु
एडिस जातिको संक्रमित पोथी लामखुट्टेको टोकाईबाट डेंगु लाग्छ । डेंगु भएमा आँखाको गेडी तथा आँखाको पछिल्लो भाग दुख्ने, असाध्यै टाउको दुख्ने तथा वाकवाकी लाग्ने, शरीर दुख्ने तथा आलस्य हुने, शरीरमा बिमिरा आउने, रक्तश्राव हुने, शरीरमा रगत जमेको दागहरू देखिने जस्ता लक्षण देखा पर्छन् ।
डेंगु भएमा आँखाको गेडी तथा आँखाको पछिल्लो भाग दुख्ने, असाध्यै टाउको दुख्ने तथा वाकवाकी लाग्ने, शरीर दुख्ने तथा आलस्य हुने, शरीरमा बिमिरा आउने, रक्तश्राव हुने, शरीरमा रगत जमेको दागहरू देखिने जस्ता लक्षण देखा पर्छन् ।
संक्रमितले पर्याप्त मात्रामा आराम गर्ने र झोलिलो तथा तागत दिने खानेकुराहरू खानुपर्छ । घरको वरपर पानी जम्न नदिने, शरीरलाई पुरै ढाक्ने लुगा लगाएर मात्र घर बाहिर निस्कने, राती सुत्दा झुलको प्रयोग गर्ने, लामखुट्टेको टोकाइबाट बच्न मलहमको प्रयोग गर्ने, घर वरपर सफा राख्ने, पानी जम्ने खाल्टाखुल्टी पुर्ने गर्दा यस संक्रमणबाट बच्न सकिन्छ ।
औलो
औलो पनि लामखुट्टेकै टोकाइबाट लाग्ने रोग हो । यो रोग संक्रमित पोथी एनफिलिज लामखुट्टेकोे टोकाइबाट सर्ने गर्छ । औलो संक्रमित बिरामीलाई एकदमै जाडो अनुभव हुने, काम ज्वरो आउने, अत्याधिक पसिना आउने, टाउको दुख्ने, बान्ता हुने, शरीर दुख्ने, ४८ अथवा ७२ घन्टाको फरकमा ज्वरो आउने जस्ता लक्षण देखिन्छन् । यो रोग लामखुट्टेले टोकेर परजीवीहरू शरीरमा प्रवेश गरेको सामान्यतया १० देखि १५ दिनभित्रमा लक्षण देखिन सुरु हुन्छ । समयमै उपचार भएन भने बिरामीको मृत्यु समेत हुन्छ ।
यसको जोखिम कम गर्न झुल तथा लामखुट्टे भगाउने रसायनहरूको प्रयोग गर्नुपर्छ । लामखुट्टेको टोकाइ कम गर्ने वा लामखुट्टेको नियन्त्रणका लागि कीटनाशक औषधि छर्किने तथा घर वरपर पानी जमेका खाल्डाखुल्डी पुर्नुपर्छ । राती सुत्दा सधैँ झुल प्रयोग गर्ने तथा घरबाहिर निस्कदा लाखुट्टेको टोकाईबाट बच्ने मलहमको प्रयोग गर्नु नै औलोबाट बच्ने प्रमुख उपाय हो ।
जण्डिस (हेपटाइटिस ए, इ)
गर्मी मौसममा दूषित पानी र खानेकुराबाट जण्डिस (हेपाइटिस ए, इ) लाग्न सक्छ । यो रोग लागेमा आँखा पहेँलो हुने, खानामा रुचि कम हुने, पेट दुख्ने, ज्वरो आउने, पिसाब हल्का कालो हुने, कमेरो खालको दिसा आउने, टाउको दुख्ने, थकान महसुस हुनेलगायतका लक्षण देखा पर्छन् ।
सामान्यतया यो रोगका लागि बिरामीलाई पर्याप्त आराम चाहिन्छ । यो एक प्रकारको भाइरल हो । त्यसैले, एक महिनापछि बिस्तारै कम भएर जान्छ । जन्डिस भएको बेलामा नुन खान नहुने, चिल्लो पिरो खानै नहुने, बेसारलगायतका पहेँलो खानेकुरा खान नहुने, उसिनेका खानेकुरा मात्र खानुपर्छ भनिन्छ । तर, यसमा कुनै सत्यता छैन । जण्डिस हुँदैमा खासै खाना बार्नु पर्दैन, घरमा पकाएको सामान्य खाना खाँदा केही फरक पर्दैन ।

दूषित खाना तथा दूषित पानीको कारणले नै हैजा लाग्न सक्छ । हैजा झाडापखालाको गम्भीर रूप हो । हैजा लागेमा बान्ता हुने, बारम्बार पातलो दिशा हुने, आँखा गाडिने, छाला चाउरिने, ज्वरो आउने, टाउको दुख्ने, रिंगटा लाग्ने जस्ता लक्षण देखा पर्छन् । हैजाको लक्षण देखा परेको केही घन्टामा उपचार भएन भने बिरामीको मृत्यु समेत हुन सक्छ ।
